Senior Accountant
Jennifer graduated from Calvin College with a BA in Accountantcy, and received a Master in Taxation from Grand Valley University. Jennifer joined the firm in 2011. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. She specializes in the preparation of all types of tax returns and handles tax research and business consulting and business planning.
Mike graduated from Calvin College with a BS in accounting. He joined the firm in 1995. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a Quickbooks Pro Advisor. Mike spent 3 years with Robert J. McBain & Company. Additionally, his hands on experience as a controller gives him real world understanding of small business. He specializes in financial statement compilation, tax preparation and financial analysis. He can also assist with evaluating and installing or upgrading computerized accounting systems. Mike is married with one daughter. He and his family enjoy camping, golfing and boating. He also has been involved with his church as a church deacon.
David Cook has been a CPA in Michigan since 1980 and has been affiliated with the firm since 1986. Dave’s areas of emphasis are tax research and tax compliance. He graduated with a degree in Business Economics from Calvin College. David earned his Masters in the Science of Accountancy from Western Michigan University in 1979. He obtained a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from Grand Valley State University in 1992. Dave has taught accounting at Western Michigan University, Davenport College of Business, Detroit College of Business, Grand Valley State University, and Calvin College. Dave is a member of the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has been actively involved in the non-profit community, serving on the boards of Home Repair Services of Kent Count, Inc. and Master Arts Community Theater.

Dan graduated from Ferris State with a BS in accounting. He started the firm in 1981. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Dan has 30 years of experience as a CPA and business advisor. His diverse experience enables him to assist small businesses and individuals with a comprehensive approach. He specializes in tax planning, financial statement compilation, tax preparation and financial analysis for small business. Dan is married with one son in college. He and his family enjoy golfing, hunting and fishing. They are also involved with several charitable programs through their church.

Debbie is the friendly voice you hear when you call our firm. She graduated from Grand Rapids Educational Center with a certificate in Dental Assistance. She started with the firm in 1988. She handles all of our day to day administrative tasks. Her communication skills are a great asset to the firm. She enjoys spending time with her her two sons and her husband. A favorite hobby is scrapbooking.
